  We identify hazards and assess risks across a range of areas and develop practical risk control measures with our clients. As well as general workplace risk assessments we carry out specialised assessments in the following areas; biological agents, chemical agents, display screen equipment, driving for work, explosive atmospheres, Legionella, machinery, manual handling, noise, occupational hygiene, physical agents, pregnant employees, stress, transport, work at height, and workplace ergonomics.

  We also provide an insurance survey service for brokers and underwriters. Our reports provide extensive information on the characteristics of a building, how it’s managed, what the work practices are and how safety is managed. Integrated Risk Solutions underwriting reports give the details needed to make accurate and cost-effective underwriting decisions.

• Safety Statements, Safety Management Systems & Software

  We develop comprehensive Safety Statements and Safety and Environmental Management Systems for companies and organisations working across all sectors of industry. The Management System is developed to comply with national and international standards.

  Safety and environmental management systems are the best practice approach to managing safety and environmental impacts in any organisation. It is the primary way in which businesses can clearly demonstrate to all stakeholders including staff, customers, contractors and regulatory bodies, that they are serious about safety and the environment.

  The Safety Statement is the basic tool in developing the Management System. Integrated Risk Solutions have helped many Irish and international organisations to develop and implement a practical Management System tailored to their requirements. Many have chosen to be formally certified whilst others operate the system in full without certification.

  We provide a full service from gap analysis through development of documentation to achieving certification. We facilitate the implementation of a number of internationally recognised systems including OHSAS 18001, BS 8800, ISO 14001 and Safe T Cert. We also can provide an integrated Safety and Environmental Management System.

  We use excellent, intuitive health and safety management software called Safety Champion to track and manage our health and safety projects.  It has a range of simple to use and easily customisable modules including accident reporting, audit, inspection, training, contractor management and chemical safety.  It can be used on any device with a neat App.  Its software designed by practicing  health and safety professionals.  We use it ourselves so we are well placed to  work with clients to make it work for them.

   

  

  

• Compliance & Monitoring

  Integrated Risk Solutions assist companies and organisations to ensure that they are compliant with all current and upcoming legislation. This is a necessary requirement for all company directors and senior managers.

  It can be difficult for organisations to know whether they are in compliance with current health and safety and environmental legislation. Many senior managers are required to provide a report to the Board confirming compliance on an annual basis. It can be difficult to know which new legislation actually applies to your business and how it should be applied to day-to-day operations. The Safety Statement needs to be regularly reviewed and updated when changes occur. Safety and environmental management systems should be regularly improving and evolving.

• Design & Construction Safety

  Integrated Risk Solutions provide services to the construction industry to ensure that all construction projects are designed and constructed in a safe manner and in line with legislation.

  For all construction projects large and small including domestic buildings there is a legal responsibility on the client/owner to ensure that health & safety is addressed at the design phase of the project and to ensure that health & safety is addressed during the construction stage of the project.

  The client must appoint a Project Supervisor for the Design Process (PSDP) and a Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage (PSCS).

  • Project Supervisor for the Design Process
    • Integrated Risk Solutions have extensive experience acting as PSDP on both small & large projects. We look at the design as a whole and evaluate the risks in place and ensure that they are designed out or the residual risk is controlled in a practical manner.
  • Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage
    • Integrated Risk Solutions have significant experience acting as PSCS on large and small projects. We have developed our own comprehensive protocols and to undertake this role we use our experienced safety professionals on site on a full time or part time basis depending on the size and complexity of the project.

  

• Provision of Environmental Health & Safety Personnel

  Integrated Risk Solutions provide experienced EHS personnel to work full time or part time on projects for our clients for specific periods of time. We can provide both in-company and site-based personnel. We review the client’s requirements and provide experienced professionals with the necessary competencies to match those requirements. We have provided personnel for companies both in Ireland and overseas.

  The personnel provided include Environmental, Health Safety Managers, Safety Officers, Site Safety Officers, Safety Advisors to carry out the role of Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage and Site based EHSQCs for the oil and gas industry.

  

• Training

  Integrated Risk Solutions can develop and deliver bespoke environmental, health and safety in-company training programmes for organisations at both management and operational level.

  We offer a range of training programmes from tailored safety management seminars to legal briefings, manual handling, accident investigation and reporting, risk assessment for managers, emerging safety issues to tool-box talks for site operatives.

  All of our management training is provided in-company by experienced staff. This ensures that our training programmes are developed to suit the needs of individual companies. We use case studies based on your company’s activities and issues to make the training more real and relevant. We incorporate your existing safety procedures, documents and checklists into our training.
